Windows 10 version 2004 rolling out to some Surface Pro X devices

Owners of Microsoft'southward Surface Pro 10 haven't been able to update to the Windows 10 May 2022 Update (Windows 10 version 2004) due to a block by Microsoft. That cake appears to have been lifted or eased, as several Surface Pro X owners have been able to grab the latest version of Windows x on their devices. A Reddit thread (via WindowsUnited) includes several comments from people able to receive the update.

Microsoft blocked the Windows 10 May 2022 Update from several devices due to a variety of issues. One gear up of problems affected devices that accept more than one Always on, Always Connected Network adapter.

At one point in early July, information technology appeared as if the cake was lifted, merely Microsoft added text to a back up page, which explained that despite an issue being resolved, that other safeguards could block devices from the update.

At present, at least some Surface Pro Ten owners take received the update, indicating that the block has been lifted, or at to the lowest degree eased.

The cake also seemed to take been lifted from some other Surface devices. Nosotros noticed 1 of our Surface Laptop 3 devices likewise received the Windows ten May 2022 Update recently.
